Dorothy Erlanger speaks about cancer patient treatment during covid-19

Dorothy Erlanger, Chair of the Patient Advocate Committee at the National Cancer Institute, spoke about the difficulties facing patient treatment during the pandemic.

This is a clip from our Virtual Panel Series discussion that took place on October 22, 2020 at 11am EST during which our panellist’s discussed the impact of Covid-19 on cancer treatment and screening.

“The other challenge in terms of treatment that I would see is if you were dealing with a patient being diagnosed with cancer and then going for treatment. The huge challenge is that person needs someone else there to be their eyes and ears.”
